Pros of getting an upright bass:
I could learn to play upright bass
they look badass
no need for amplification
naturally wireless
we could play accoustic shows
when i'm not playing it, it makes a decorative conversation piece
i can hide behind it
it's unique
it's classy

Cons of getting an upright bass:
*I can't affoard one
I can't play one
they're big and combersome
not very portable
might be hard to maintain
i have no idea where you'd get strings for one or how to replace them
I would have to call someone bone-daddy every time i play it
