Alright, that's two more classes than I took last semester. I really liked the pace of having only 4 classes, it was very stress-free. I thought the Astronomy Lab would just be observing out in the observatory, but seeing as we needed to buy two text books for it, and that it's meeting regardless of the professor not being there this Thursday, it looks like it'll be the harder one than the Astro. class.
I tried to go in to drop my CSC, but my guiadance counselar is also the prof of that class, and the department chair, so... he wouldn't let me. He remembered me, remembered my GPA remembered that I was a Math major, and said I wouldn't have a problem doing the material, as long as I did all of the reading and otherwise kept up with it. That's just it though! I spent "6" hours tonight on just two of my math classes. That was just keeping up, too... not even getting ahead.
(By the way, "6" is because I tend to work 2 hours per every 3 I set out to. I take breaks and otherwise get distracted, but still... I alot that amount of time for working, take that amount of time out of my day, and there by it counts! Neh! :P)
Annnnyyyyways, this semester's going to be really tough. At least, all of my professors are intellegent this semester.
Phs 156/57 doesn't like me (I showed up 1 minute late to class- they moved the bookstore another block away).
Mat 222/315 is exactly like me when I'm run down. He works only T/R ALL day, he's smart and exhausted. It wasn't until I did my homework that I could tell how intellegent he is, how his wording and manner of teaching left an impact so that I actually learned properly off of him. Meaning, I need to pay attention in class, for I will not get any help outside of it.
continued 315- is the online one, there looks to be very little homework. This one aught to work out like Art last year, just with less last minute business.
Mat230- she's a soft lady, that's nervous and bubbly. She wants to fully explain ideas, but then ends up getting a bit mixed up in it. She's smart and amusing though. She has some poor reviews on professor.com, but I think that's just because people assume that bubbliness means idiocy. I don't, I think she just really likes teaching, but freezes up if the class isn't completely following along. As long as, when she start mumbling to herself, I quit really listening, I should be perfectly fine. The class looks more to do with just reading the entire text than anything else. It's a logic class. It should be pretty fun. The only downside is needing MASS amount of homework assigned so that all of the tedious details stick... ewwww.
CSC202- looks to be equal to my Finance class last semester, workwise. But with less research and more of things I don't know about. o.O
I guess... as long as I put in at least 20 hours a week on homework, I should be able to keep up. ~whimper~ Then again, if that's the going rate this week, what's it going to be like towards the end? O.O ~dies~
What's bad is, Alex isn't going to school next semester, so... I won't have her doing her work to remind me to do mine. Then again, I sorta assume she'll go live with Mickey, so then we won't really be on the phone at all, anyways. Iiiii dunno. We'll see.
Classes only last until the end of April, for me... and then, throw in Spring Break (where I'll have March2-12 off b/c of no MWF classes). This semester should run by quickly.
